Privacy Policy

Just Move Property Maintenance Ltd

Last updated: 11 October 2026

We care about looking after your information as well as we look after your home. This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect when you visit justmovepropertymaintenance.com or get in touch with us, why we need it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Just Move Property Maintenance Ltd is the "data controller" for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.

  • Company: Just Move Property Maintenance Ltd (company number 16374810)
  • Registered office: 22 Parnell Close, Grays RM16 6BQ
  • Trading address: 485 Bethnal Green Road, London E2 9QH
  • Phone: 020 7033 0222
  • Email: admin@justmovepropertymaintenance.com

Our sister company is Just Move Property London Limited (company number 07669864). If you are a customer of both companies, each company is responsible for the information it holds about you.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, please contact us using the details above.

What information we collect

We only collect what we need to help you. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

  • Your contact details – your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property where the work is needed.
  • Details of the job – a description of the work, access arrangements and anything else you tell us so we can quote and do the job properly.
  • Photos and files – pictures or videos you send us of the problem or the area to be worked on.
  • Messages – your calls, texts, WhatsApp messages, emails and anything you send through the forms on our website.
  • Booking details – if you book online, the date, time and details of your appointment, which are handled through GoDaddy Appointments.
  • Payment information – if you pay online, your card or payment details are processed securely by GoDaddy and/or our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Website information – information collected through cookies and analytics tools when you use our website, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are visiting from.

Why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and give you a quote;
  • arrange and manage your booking;
  • carry out the work you have asked for;
  • send invoices, take payment and keep our accounts;
  • ask you for feedback or a review once the job is done;
  • keep our website working well and understand how people use it;
  • meet our legal obligations, such as tax, accounting and health and safety requirements.

Our legal reasons for using your information

UK data protection law says we must have a valid reason (a "lawful basis") for using your personal information. We rely on:

  • Contract – when we need your information to give you a quote, book you in, do the work or take payment.
  • Legal obligation – when the law requires us to keep or share information, for example for tax and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interests – when we have a genuine business reason that does not override your rights, such as responding to general enquiries, asking for a review, keeping records in case of a query or complaint, and improving our website and service.
  • Consent – for non-essential cookies and for marketing messages. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who we share your information with

We never sell your information. We only share it when we need to, and only with people who need it to help us do our job:

  • Partner electricians, Gas Safe registered engineers and other qualified partners or contractors – only the details they need to carry out the part of the job they are doing for you.
  • Licensed waste carriers – where we need to arrange the removal of waste from your property.
  • GoDaddy – which hosts our website and runs our online bookings, forms and payments.
  • Google – for services such as email, maps, reviews and website analytics.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) – if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
  • Payment providers – to process your payments securely.
  • Our accountants – to keep our financial records and meet our tax obligations.

We may also share information if the law requires it, for example with HMRC, the police or a regulator, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute.

Everyone we share information with is expected to keep it safe and use it only for the purpose we gave it to them.

How long we keep your information

We only keep your information for as long as we need it:

  • Invoices, payment and accounting records – typically up to 6 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Job records – kept for as long as we need them to deal with any questions, guarantees or complaints about the work, usually in line with our accounting records.
  • Enquiries that don't go ahead – kept for a shorter time, just long enough to deal with any follow-up, and then deleted.

When we no longer need your information, we delete it securely.

Keeping your information safe

We take sensible steps to protect your information, including using secure, reputable systems, password-protecting our devices and accounts, and limiting access to the people who need it. No system is ever completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe and will act quickly if something goes wrong.

Information sent outside the UK

Some of the services we use, such as GoDaddy, Google and WhatsApp (Meta), may store or process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK government recognising the country as having adequate protection, or the provider using approved contract terms, so your information is protected to the standard required by UK law.

Marketing

We don't sell your information, and we won't bombard you. If we send you occasional updates or offers, we will only do so where the law allows or where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time by replying "stop", using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information. You can ask us to:

  • Access – give you a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct – fix anything that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erase – delete your information, where we don't need to keep it.
  • Restrict – limit how we use your information.
  • Object – stop using your information, for example for marketing or where we rely on legitimate interests.
  • Portability – send your information to you or another organisation in a commonly used format.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To use any of these rights, just contact us at admin@justmovepropertymaintenance.com or on 020 7033 0222. We may need to check your identity before we respond. There is normally no charge.

If you're unhappy with how we have handled your information, please talk to us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator:

  • Website: ico.org.uk
  • Phone: 0303 123 1113

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. We use some cookies that are needed for our website to work properly, and others (such as analytics cookies) that help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent, and you can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
